About Gold Shaw Farm: Gold Shaw Farm is more of a farm-in-progress than an honest-to-goodness farm. We dream that someday we can transform our 150+ acre parcel of land into a regenerative and productive homestead and farm.

So, I've had a swollen lymph node on my neck for about 2 months. I went to the specialist the other day, and he told me it's most likely cancer. As you can guess, this news is very stressful. However, being at the homestead and doing chores puts my mind at peace. There is nothing more relaxing than being outside.

Thank you. As a person who has huge allergies to all things dander and pollen and dust it is a complete joy to watch you and your farm operate, the sounds the sights are awesome and I am spared the smells and itching. You rock Mr. Gold. And my heart hurts for your grief regarding Molly Murder Mittens. She was(is) an awesome being who was so lucky to have you and your beautiful wife to spend her life with. Much love and healing energies to you and yours ❤💔❤

I love how Abby's all like, "Dad's back! Love me and pay attention to me!!!" while Toby Dog is all, "Move outta the way dad, gotta re-mark my territory!"

Blue skies and sunshine with tranquil animals sounds from the farm. Beautiful serene video, thank you.

Thanks! Brought back memories of 75 years ago of chickens, pigs and a cow that were all prolific producers to a poor farm family. What great, quite memories. Needed it, after being sick and now feeling better!

I admire a man who knows chores build both soul and character. The harder, the better and the greater the character.

Hands down my favourite video in a long time. Just watch animals living their best lives is endlessly entertaining.

If you aren't feeling like coming up with episode scripts etc, this is fantastic idea.

May these video persist even after your grief has subsided.

These are my favorite kind of videos you make. No drama, no politics, just good ol' farm life, plain and simple.

Great video! Streamed it on TV to my mom, who doesn't speak a word of English... She was asking all sorts of questions and was like "How do you know all that? He's not saying anything!" I had to tell her the Morgan of GoldShawn farm story 😂

My new 5 month old tortie kitten, Nadja is your new biggest fan❤❤ She's gets super close to the big screen to watch the chickens and you petting your cats. The ending had me tearing up because I feel your heart break with you. I still hope for Molly's safe return but if that cannot be, I wish peace for everyone. We love you. This was an amazing video. ❤❤ Sending the biggest hugs 🤗🐈‍⬛🐈🤗

Noticed Abby was not wearing her e-collar during chicken training. She is progressing so nicely. Yay, Lady Abington!!!!

That was such a zen video. Thanks Morgan. I think I sensed a Molly remembrance in that last porch scene, at least it did for me and I teared up.😢

The ducks and geese are always talking -- I wonder what they're saying to each other --
Really enjoyed the farm chores -- there's such simple beauty all over the farm. take a closeup of the grasses and there's so much more there. Thanks, Morgan!

Can I just compliment you on how well you care for your dogs' coats, Morgan? I am a dog groomer and I can tell a matted, stained white coat when I see one. Your two dogs coats look amazing! And don't get me wrong, it is SO easy for a dog of that colour and coat type to get into that state, when they do what they do. But it takes a lot of work to keep them from getting that way. The coat of the Maremma is design to shed dirt, but when it gets as wet and muddy as your two's do, then it takes a lot of brushing to ensure that coat dries all the way through, so it doesn't mat and stain. Once a coat is stained, there is little way to get it white again, just pain-staking grooming and waiting for the stained areas to shed out. Usually, when I see any working dog walk in my front door (I groom many working farm dogs, ) I can tell without touching their coat if it has mats. I had to spend nearly four hours, last week, preparing a Newfoundland for transport to another country and she could not go in the state that she was. There is too much that a matted coat hides (fungal infection of the skin, ectoparasites, invasive plant seeds, invasive microscopic organisms) and these could prove to be a phytosanitary risk.

What a great video! So many youtubers yammer on and on but you realize that "silence is golden" when accompanied by beautiful scenery and the serenity of just observing a vast variety of animals. Keep up the great work!
