WD40 is great except it is NOT a lubricant!! It actually dissolves oil and grease leaving the hinges etcetc without lubrication

I have to say that spraying ANYTHING but graphite powder into a lock is a bad idea. This allows dust to collect and could possibly jam the lock... but it will wait until the worst possible moment to do that. 🤣 Don't believe me? Ask a locksmith.
