its not about which looks better. SE is much more stable. I had a walkthrough of SE with 40-50 mods slapped on it, ~100 hour. And shadows looks like shadows, not pixelated vomits on walls :P

You can tell that they tried to do a good remaster. The textures and lighting were the worst part of skyrim. With the rain and snow clipping fixed, some game breaking coding bugs iradicated and an all around better game experience, I'm definitely picking it up when it drops in pricing. Good video, I dont sub to many people but you earned it, I shared some of your video links (not the videos themselves, so you actually get the views) around on my facebook (and links to your channel hub) and already got you a few new subscribers. Keep up the good work bro, and don't let your channel quality drop, it's at a steady upload rate with good content. I think we'd agree that quality is over quantity. Just remember your 1 first 1000 after you hit your first million subs eh? Lol

Skyrim Special Edition came out after Fallout 4 released. So they implemented some improvements based on their work on Fallout 4 engine.
Fallout 4 this year will get an improvement upgrade, so I can only assume that these improvements will be based on their work on Starfield which will release this year.

Not the best remaster for sure but defiantly not the worst. The lightning is the only thing that’s drastically improved compared to the OG Skyrim. The new lightning system has a much deeper shading gradient especially for the shadows and the ambient occlusions are far more defined with rock walls. The added support for 4K dynamic resolution is very nice compared to the original since that barely ran at 720p. The foliage and draw distance while also improved is not as impressive as I imagined it would so I just added verdant grass mod plus vivid weathers to give the game a much more fuller landscape look which defiantly looks far better. Plus I threw in open cities mod a few 1k retextures for cities, clutter and everything in between and this game is pretty much golden and should be more than playable until the next elders scroll is released whenever that will be.
