I am so impressed that the rivet header didn't bounce off the anvil. Way to go Thomas.

Ya know, judging by that thumbnail, I was really hoping for an Oreo cookie baking video out of the workshop today…

I guess another high quality blacksmithing video will suffice!

Thanks for this awesome wholesome content.

SDG.

Cool, how much for some usung my flat earth map from the blanks I order for fire anchors? And, do you have longer leg versions? Like 3" and 5" legs? For campfire and dutch oven cooking? Hadn't thought about using the blanks for trivets, I had been welding three horseshoes to some legs.🤔🤔🤔

Is the thermal mass of a lodge 13.25 inch cast iron skillet (about 10.5lbs plus the weight of the food) going to overwhelm the passive cooling function of the trivet when taken out of a 425°F oven or can it handle the heat without coloring the wood table underneath it?

This is a torture test. I've melted silicone trivets with my 13.25 skillet that could handle the 10.25 inch skillet.

Nice job guys, why not have the plasma cutter cut out the holes on the top part?

Very nice trivet - do you have your own cnc table or do you outsource it?
