Charles Poliquen, RIP, ex Canadian Olympic strength coach, stated “every hour of sleep before 11pm is equivalent to 2 hours after 11 pm”. Quality sleep can’t be over emphasized …. IMO

Sleep, you sleep when you feel tired and you wake up when you're fully rested. Hours of sleep are irrelevant if you're not fully rested. There's a difference.

Got all your problems potentially solved. For context, I'm 46 years old and I train daily in Muay Thai and BJJ. I healed both a meniscus tear (4 weeks) and a grade 1 AC joint separation (6 weeks) with BPC-157/TB-500. No soreness, great sleep.

Muscle soreness:
I just take a recovery supplement from Athlean X, you still get sore but it won't impair movement.

Sleep:
Morning sunlight for 10 minutes minimum
Evening sunlight for 10 minutes minimum
1 hour before bed put on amber tinted blue blockers, not the cheap transparent ones
Plenty of electrolytes; Sodium, Potassium, Magnesium
Make sure you're hydrated (obviously)
1-2x per week do 15-20 minutes in a sauna that's at least 160 degrees Fahrenheit (This also super boosts natural GH which will exponentially boost the peptide healing and give you great sleep, not to mention a myriad of other benefits i.e. anti-inflammation and muscle soreness reduction)

I no longer need the peptides (all healed) but I continue the above protocol, and I can honestly say that I sleep just as good now as I did when was 18 years old. My sleep quality is amazing now; deep, restorative, comfortable... nothing short of miraculous. I wish you well.

Please look into Adequan. I was literally unable to walk without a crutch.and was in tremendous pain. I was formerly very athletic with a birth defect called clasp knife syndrome, severe bone spurs of the first metatarsophalangeal joint from soccer, both knees and now my left hip. I now use Adequan - an injectable( sub q or IM) Polysulfated glycosaminoglycans - glycosamine/chondroitin type product, helps repair cartilage, also reduces inflammation. Approved for veterinary use.
I was desperate to regain mobility and with research I found out that an identical drug is approved for humans in Europe. My dog was completely crippled, couldn’t get up. Now he runs up stairs. It’s extremely effective. Regularly used by rugby players and weight lifters
In the UK.
I’m not running up stairs but I am walking, able to do yoga, walking without issues.
Arteparon is the human equivalent but I have no idea how to obtain it.

About 6 weeks ago my son bought me my first bottle of BCP 157 peptides to try them out. Like this guy I have had swollen ankles and hurting legs of a mid 60s double knee replacement overweight guy. With 6 weeks in I’m doing much, much better gone are the pain from legs, ankles and feet. My workouts have gotten better as well.

Glad you're feeling better and Thank you for sharing your honest experiences. I turn 52 in June and I can definitely tell you that ever since I've turned ~50, my body doesn't recover as well/fast without proper rest. I've had to set a different priority towards my sleep versus my 40's. Plenty of rest and sleep is now mandatory for me especially after a rigorous workout. Getting older sucks😄

Yes, it’s crazy to have taken you this long to figure out the sleep thing, but I am glad that you have and you are in a better place. Thank you for your sharing and wishing for you nothing but the best your body, mind and soul.

These peptides are amazing. Healed my bicep tear, tendinitis, and other tissue issues. However, BPC157 will aggravate latent Shingles if you've had it before.
It's been 15 years since my last shingles bout. While taking BPC, it triggered a full blown shingles outbreak.
So keep that in mind before taking.

As a sleep expert research says you definitely need more sleep. Also arch support is super important. I just started the BPC-157 last night because I was also having the same symptoms so I’m hoping it works for me. I do sleep well and have foot support also. Glad the sleep and foot support is working for you. I also learned about b1 deficiency.

I’ve traveled a path very similar to yours friend. Sleep was a monster component. The other component for me was magnesium. I noticed a huge change in myalgia after getting a base level build up if you will. Keep up your good work!!

I had an experience yesterday where I woke up after 5 hours of sleep with my knee aching badly still from the big day I had standing for 14 hours. Went back to sleep for 2 hours and the pain was completely gone. For me the last 2 hours of my sleep make the biggest difference in how well rested I am. Anything under 6.5 hours and i feel like i didn't sleep at all, if I sleep a full 8 i feel like I'm going to have the best day of my life because of how well rested I feel. 8 hours of sleep is more important than work. I can get more done in 5 hours at work on 8 hours of sleep than I could in 8 hours on 5 hours of sleep.

I found the opposite on BPC & TB, I felt that I recovered from workouts much faster.

Bill, I've heard that there can be mood side effects with BPC-157. When you said you felt depressed it made me remember some of the feedback I've read from others. Some people it's positive as it can relieve anxiety, but others say they feel numb to pleasure or happiness when they are using it. I've not read of any permanent effects. I'm also considering taking it for a very long term shoulder injury that isn't bad enough for surgery, but just wont heal on its own, so i have been doing a lot of research

I get my bpc157 and tb500 from peptidegurus . Since then they are working on my injured shoulder pretty well, after watching this video I’m gonna sleep more and get some shoe soles ( i got flat foot as well😅)
Thank you so much for the sharing of your experience!

Thank you for sharing! The info you shared is very important for us. I'm also taking BPC157/TB500 from Swisschems to recover from my shoulder injury (torn rotator). im not yet 100% healed but it feels like the peptide is helping recover faster

What’s your stretching routine like? A good stretch with a little resistance usually helps loosen my muscles. Not every day but a couple times a week for 30 minutes.

Glad to hear you’re getting more sleep!

Sleep is so important, just as important as diet and exercise. That’s when your body does its self repair, if you’re not getting that deep REM sleep it can’t do that.
