on the indies he was matt sydal, he was getting rave reviews on the indies for years before wwe picked him up.. not everyone who comes to wwe is a new person. the kayfabe wants you to see them as brand new talent when in fact they've been on it for years. now today these nxt guys, over half of them are newbs give or take a few selected experienced guys.
