Acts 1:8 "But ye shall receive power, when the Holy Spirit is come upon you: and ye shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea and Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."
In this video David hands the mic over to Rex, who shares much scripture as he teaches on the importance of having the Holy Spirit in your life to be able to walk the life of Christ and to hear His voice.
The Holy Spirit is given to us so that He can mature us and to enable us to grow in the image of Christ.
It is important for believers to receive the power of the Holy Spirit in their life and to seek Him, not just for the gifts only, but so you can be anointed to do the work that God has called you to do in your life and in your family.
Acts 2:38 "And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."
Acts 2:17-19 "And it shall be in the last days, saith God, I will pour forth of my Spirit upon all flesh: And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, And your young men shall see visions, And your old men shall dream dreams: Yea and on my servants and on my handmaidens in those days Will I pour forth of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy."
