Absolute monster reliability like all the uz’s, got mine over 127k miles a week ago, it was left in the garage for 1 full year, fired right up, only had to change tires and oil.

Decreased cylinder sleeve thickness is really not even that thin in comparison to other engines. Yes it may be thinner than the 1uz, but the block deck is also revised over the 1uz version to better support the cylinder sleeve and increase the strength.

I'm sure this won't be an issue until you are north of 800hp. Cylinder pressure will be best to determine the weak point.
