The Yellow Jackets survived a furious comeback attempt by the Hurricanes to get the 80-76 road victory. Georgia Tech took a 76-63 lead with 7:03 left and did not hit a field goal for the remainder of the game but made four free throws in the final 40 seconds to lock up the win. Miles Kelly scored a game-high 25 points, making seven three-pointers and grabbing seven rebounds. Kowacie Reeves Jr. added 15 points and eight rebounds. For Miami, Kyshawn George and Bensley Joseph each scored 16 points.
