Still waiting on the rear differential to be returned. Gear box and cylinder head are going to Coventry West and its time to remove the cyclinder head from the engine. Little nervous of starting this task as they can be tough to remove. The last V12 engine I did it took three weeks to get both cyclinder heads off using a specialist tool that cost a small fortune.

It appears that one of the bolts has been broken a long time but more on that a bit later.

Music today is from the film - Oliver Cromwell - Cromwell Soundtrack Suite by Frank Cordell. As a kid I loved this film and still occasionally watch it today.

Special tribute goes out to the family and friends of Sir Captain Tom Moore - Sir Capatin Moore passed away due to Covid 19 after 100 eventful years on the planet. A veteran of WWII - He raised over $46 million for UK Covid First Responders by doing 100 laps of the garden at his retirement home on his 100th birthday. Knighted by the Queen for his service, this is a special man from a special generation who kept giving to the Country to his last breath. Thank you Tom and everyone from that generation.

John, Great to see you got the head off, I take it you where pushing in the detent for the top timming chain adjuster, Do you have a timming
chain tension tool and a cam alignment tool for putting it back together. Looking forward to seeing the restoration. Cheers Dave

I'm curious to know how many head studs were broke / stuck. Looked like 2. But you got the head off and that's what counts.
