LED Violin Invention Lights up Clarkson University
Показать описание
David Deininger '16, an electrical engineering major at Clarkson University, has an up-and-coming business idea that should enhance the performance of violin players everywhere. His invention lights a clear violin from within in the colors of the player's choice. The violin can also be connected to the lighting at a concert and change the theater lighting colors with each note played.
Deininger is taking full advantage of not only his military veterans benefits while at Clarkson, but also of help from Clarkson's Shipley Center for Innovation to fulfill his business idea. The mission of the Shipley Center is to accelerate the commercialization of discovery-driven Clarkson innovations into the marketplace, to foster and accelerate the exchange of ideas between the various schools on campus and industry and to prepare and educate the faculty and students for the 21st century entrepreneurial workplace.
While Deininger served on a submarine in the Navy, he never forgot his passion for the violin. Now, with the help of the Shipley Center, he is tuning up that passion to create a business to light up his future.
