1484 - My Buyee Experience

Buyee is a proxy site for buying all kinds of stuff from Japan! Here's how my experience went!

It's definitely refreshing to hear an honest review of these proxy sites. Too often creators get sponsors and they're not transparent with their experience, they just give you a coupon code and say they're amazing.

I would not recommend Buyee. It costs as of April 2020, so you have an idea.

800 yen (handling fee)
850 yen (domestic shipping)
850 yen (domestic shipping fee, yes they charge you twice, shop - wear house - wear house before shipping)

before your product gets out of Japan, you would prepare to pay min. $25 (those are only handling fees and domestic shipping fees within Japan)

then your international shipping fee $50,
My case was DHL.

then X amount for your product.

So basically the handling fee and shipping costs $75 at least, NOT including the cost of your product.

It is up to you.

Due to all respect, but here we have an opinion of influencer . If that would happen to regular customer he would lost his money and there is nothing would be possible to fix this . Buyee is a good place to hunt rare stuff for good price but also a place to be easily mislead and used with no morality . Be vigilante, be careful .

Just a heads up I'm from Canada and the shipping fee is just too expensive compared to Samurai Buyer but the best part about this site is the sniper bid so I won't have to wake up at 5am just so i could bid on something on the site

im a dutch person i ordered a huge thing for €16 and the shipping cost was €9 it was a very pleasant suprise

You would think whoever approaches a youtuber asking for a review of their service would take the extra mile to make sure that the experience is top notch.. unless they just have so much faith in their process that its guaranteed to be flawless.. which in this case.. obviously it wasnt. But in the end its for the best as prospect consumers dont get a tampered flawless experience review.. meh.

bro i had to pay $213 usd for a box that weighed 11 pounds (6 items inside) the bright side of it was that it was DHL and it took under a week to get to my home. but be careful how what to consolidate & what not to consolidate

Screw buyee. They terminated me after spending $300+ and won't disclose why! Luckily I didn't have any items in my locker.

If there are any items that you have already paid for, we will refund you the purchasing cost as soon as possible.

Thanks. I never used current ones but years ago I priced a few thing like this and by the end the cost was at least 3 times the cost of the product, many time more. I'd pay $6 for a $1 thing but not $150 for a $50 thing unless rare.

Buyee scammed me ://
I bought a Nintendo console drom Mercari in November 2021, now is mid February 2022.
The package is missing, Japan post lost the parcel and they told me the proxy service is responsible.
Buyee refused to help and answer to my problem.
