2023 Nissan Key Fob Battery Replacement - EASY DIY

Here is the all-new key fob that Nissan introduced for some of their 2023 models. At the time of this being published, this fob is standard on the Rogue Pathfinder and Kicks. This process is fairly straight forward but a little demonstration will be helpful in showing you where to pry. Use your small flat blade screwdriver and pry right above the silver trim as I've shown and work your way around the edge until the two halves are apart. Replace your dead 2032 battery and snap the two halves together! You're all set. Hope you found this video to be helpful and informative. Take care!

These are surprisingly water resistant. Got here because I’d just been standing in a pool for 10 min with my fob in my pocket. Thankfully everything inside was dry

I "upgraded" mine. AKA I painted the icons white so they stand out. Not sure why they didn't do that, super hard to see with it all black.

You can open the fob with a credit card or any other thin plastic. The latches are not that strong enough to need a screwdriver.
