Mococo: Dude is an insult
Fuwawa: Dude is rude
Also Fuwawa: Hurry up dude

going by FuwaMoco's logic, Kronii is the most rude Canadian by default because she often uses "dude"

Jairoppi

"Do you guys have friends?"

Mumei's default mood is always set to "savage".

Has the same energy as a kid that says "stupid" is tantamount to cursing.

Forget everything else, FuwaMoco referring to Canada as "The Northwest Passage" is sending me

"Name something you use instead of the word friend."

Kiara: "YOU LITTLE SHIT."

The word "dude" was originally a slang back in the 19th century to mean an urban outsider or a city slicker, and cowboys in the old west would often use it as an insult when one of these came to their small town, like "Check out this dressed-up city boy over here!"

I don't think I've ever heard of 'Dude' being considered rude before. Ive been using that my whole life, and I think I picked up on saying it cause that's what my Mom would use every so often when referring to me or my siblings.

“So what are you in detention for?”

North-west passage mfers: “called someone dude”

They probably hear dude used in the same context as calling someone 'buddy' when you're pissed off at them

The facial expressions are hilarious! Fuwawa looks shocked and a bit offended, Mococo looks confused and curious, Biboo looks attentive and thoughtful, Nerissa looks like she's just done something naughty, Ame is just laughing at everything, Gura looks like she's thoroughly enjoying being the cause of some kind of mischief, and finally Mumei looks confused as to why Kronii is panicking.

FuwaMoco: "Dude is a rude term!"

Me: "First time I've heard this. Guess my friends and I are just a bunch of rude dudes."

'Mate' isn't just an Aussie thing, it's also a British thing.

I genuinely dont understand how they see dude as rude. Its probably one of my most used words lol. Really all it is is a casual way of addressing someone. Probably a tier above "man" in terms of casualness. So yea I mean, if you walk up to the cashier and you've never met them before and go "how's it going dude?" that could come off as too casual, sure. It's not insulting whatsoever tho. It would just be too close sounding in that case.

But honestly, America is different. I've had food delivery guys come up to my door before and go "hey, bro" and I dont bat an eye. I feel like for me, as long as its friendly I don't give a single shit. But I could get why some people like to keep it a bit more formal. America is just overall an extremely casual nation though. Strong formalities are really only reserved for work/customer situations, interviews, meeting someone's family, and maybe a couple other things. Overall we just don't care for it here. I feel like some people look down on that and view it as low-class, but I find it to be quite nice tbh. It feels like you can express yourself very freely here. I love Japan for example, but I feel like the super formal nature would be suffocating and leave a wall between me and others. But I guess it works for some. America is an individualist nation, so we aint tryna blend in. We all just going our own ways doing our own thing.

Any of the words used in the video could be used harshly if you gave them a sharp tone too.
