The reason Draco didn't kill Dumbledore isn't because he couldn't, it's because he *WOULDN'T* do it.

At 2:54 you see Draco's expression change with a gasp when he hears Snape's voice, that's not random...
It's not shown in the movies but for 6 years at this point, Snape has been head of house Slytherin and a mentor and father figure for its students, including Draco.
And from what we see in Draco's reaction, he for a moment feels relieved that Snape is here, a familiar figure, a person who he knows and hopes will somehow deliver him from this terrible burden somehow...
And then he does.

"I have you to kill you, or he's gonna kill me." First time watching this, my heart practically shattered.fifth time watching this scene, and I cry. Draco does bully harry, but as we keep going in the story- and especially this movie- I find sympathy for Draco. And I think Harry does too.

People don't realize that this was such an important scene for the elder wand stuff. The moment Draco disarmed Dumbledore (which he allowed on purpose), the elder wand chose Draco as its new master. Later in the deathly hallows, harry disarms Draco, which would make harry the owner of the elder wand. This is why Voldemort failed to kill harry again in the forest, and the spell backfired on him, killing the Horcrux inside of harry.

Draco Malfoy and Severus Snape are not actually bad.
They are exceptions who belong to Slytherin house.
Severus Snape loved Lily more than anything and for the true love he protected Harry till his death.
Draco was never bad from heart. Je got the worst of a father and the best of a mother. He had no choice but to accept this in order to save his family.
They both had no choices but had to sacrifice.
Everyone saw the bad in them..but never the good that was hidden inside.
No one noticed their pain, their sorrow but everyone noticed their mistakes..
All Slytherins are not bad...there is always a GOOD HIDDEN IN BAD..We need to find that GOOD.

You can tell that Dumbledore totally knew and understood Draco’s predicament. He didn’t feel intimidated at all those things Draco attempted to murder him, as he knows that Draco doesn’t have the heart at all.
