She’s worthy and deserves an international tennis hall of fame (ITHF) award. A LEGEND on her own right. She accomplished a lot and represented her country well. I believe she retired because she can’t play in her highest abilities because of RA diagnosis. Sad, but regular people suffers from it had to take medicine. I think some RA meds have steroid content, which is not good for athletes. Although, she may claim “therapeutic use” it’s better for her to retire and her legacy will NOT be tainted (if ever someone will accuse her of “making an excuse”). I strongly believe that she played fairly & honestly; also, with integrity.
