Magma Wyrm Makar is one of the hardest bosses in Elden Ring and after dying countless times I developed a cheese strategy to easily kill him without having to fully engage him and lead him to his death. The video explains how to cheese him.

The bow cheese worked! Thank you so much. I used a Longbow +6, with a combination of Serpent Arrows and Regular Arrows. He did start to come around the pole at first, but I led him around it again and managed to get him stuck in place as you said.

Worked well for me today. When I could string several shots in a row quickly, the damage would nicely escalate. Great tip!

Works even better if you step a little to the right so you can see his shoulder/side of his head, physical damage with my bow is only 90 but hitting him in the head/shoulder eats about 2-3% per arrow so I only used 60 arrows on him. You may have to adjust position around pillar but not much, I think I moved 3 times, just enough to keep him directly across from me. Keep up the great vids, they've saved my bacon more than once!!

Great cheese! I used a Serpent bow with poisoned arrows, only used about a dozen arrows, the poison done the rest.

nice strategy!! i brought in the two summons outside the fog gate and then summoned my mimic tear. i waited until he was distracted and hit him with rotten breath. then stood back as the scarlot rot ate away his health. the summons were hammering him as well as i used rock sling on him. my mimic was nailing him over and over with rotten breath as well lol. his health went down so fast and i never took a hit.

i recommend if you cant kill him with all the arrows (in my case i couldn't) then play ring around the rosy with him around the pillar spamming glintstone pebble i only do around 130 dmg per cast with it and i killed him with using like 2-3 +2 cerulean tears make sure to keep your distance

I got too close and he went around but I used the pillar to protect myself
and was able to use the cheese.

Not sure whether they fixed his AI in a patch recently but alas I ran over to the spot and he moved around the pole

Use rot breath and run and hide behind the pillars (can’t damage you)
