These headphones are fire, listening right now out of the box the bass is really powerful, but the overall tone is warm and super pleasant, the highs are detailed and transparent, and the soundstage literally immerses you in the musical composition💯💥

You don't have to always "cut" out all the small gaps in your speech. It makes it sound super robotic and very weird/jarring.

the quote on the box is a reference to the animated TV show Arcane based on league of legends. it's a quote by the main villain originally "the *base* violence necessary for change" cause he believed in violence, and Z just replaced base with bass cause its a bassy headphone I guess lol. amazing show by the way, one of the best ever made highly recommend

I've been waiting for someone to review these, aside from Zeos. Thank you for your thoughts and measurements. "The Bass Violence Needed for Change" is a phrase Zeos uses to describe the type of bass in the headphone; it is violent, and it will change you.

I know it is standard practice to align measurements at 1 kHz, but the eris has a dip there. It would be easier to comprehend the difference if you had shifted the point of alignment.

I'm someone who can consider myself a bit of a basshead too, but I was looking for an open headphone to try and ended up getting the HarmonicDyne Athena at a very good deal for a much lower price. Soon after they launched the Eris and with this video I realized that their construction is extremely similar. Could it be that with some equalization or even sealing some air vents like the Eris, I would be able to have the same bass performance or something similar?

i regret no buying the Athena when it was in stock but i got these and man do i like them i'm even going to get a second pair to have one backup cause who knows when they will discontinue them

Good review, thanks, I was curious about Zeos's headphone tuning, it seems he went too far with his violent bass 😀, I'd almost certainly have to Eq that tuning. I've still yet to find any headphone I like more than my M50X's, I have a small collection of other headphones, some which are very expensive, I guess I'll continue to look.
