I'll say it again, I really like Doug Pederson and he is a solid coach in this league but his marriage to his staff and commitment to them is his down fall. Really it's hard to fault him for that as it speaks to the kind of guy he is, but we have too much potential to be back to basement dwelling every year.

Mac is a pocket passer and has pinpoint accuracy, but the OC is not allowing Mac to flourish in this plain milk offense. I'm willing to bet that more than 80% of the offensive plays run are in "shot gun" formation. The end result is that the team is 4-12. Newsflash! There's no element of surprise with shot gun, passing or running. Design the plays with him under center. Let him grow into stretching a running play and asserting himself in passing plays within the protection of a pocket. He's no Usain Bolt, but he is nimble enough to get himself into open space to make a play downfield. In all my years watching the great Bill Walsh running his west coast offense, I don't think there was ever a time when the great Joe Montana ever ran a play in shot gun formation. It didn't happen, and for good reason. Joe was a pocket passer and the best set up for him was running the offense under center.

We almost lost this game when we were up 13-0 vs the terrible titans. Get rid of this guy.

Dude you were up 13-0, let that slip away and almost ended up tied at the end of regulation. Defense gave up 5.3 per carry and Tennessee had Tight Ends running WIDE open in the End Zone. You and this Team are SOFT. Titans didn't "really" want to win; we simply out finessed them. Now they have the #2 draft pick and can get the QB they desperately need. Message to the Team: Enjoy the meaningless victory.

This victory and how hard the team has played most of the season, Shows that Doug Pederson, Ryan Nielsen and Press Taylor are great coaches that can win. Hopefully we get to 5-12 keep the coaches and get better players to play with our superstars like TLaw and BTJ. Because this coaching staff will win super bowls with better roster construction in the offseason.
