By far the most important parts are Page Title, (Site ID in many themes) Description, Alt Tags on all images and backlinks from established websites - (these can be tucked away somewhere on your main website). Keyworded backlinks work better than simple URLs - for example "triple glazed windows' with link to website you want to boost. I've never paid for Google adwords as the above steps are all you will ever need, especially Page Title and backlinks (and Alt Tags if you want your images to appear in a Google Images search). Also be geographically specific. It takes a week or so but well worth the behind-the-scenes work.

As always, fantastic information Paul! May I ask a question: How do you set up Rank Math properly on the WordPress start page? The start page does not get a permalink and therefore Rank Math can not be optimized like all other pages. Isn't the start page the most important page? Thank you.
