5. Hiding spots: I try to provide my little nuggets with a lot of fresh birch nad willow branches that still have a lot of leaves. They just love to munch on the leaves and when I hang these above their regular perches, they love to hide and sleep between the hanging leaves.

I've only had house chickens, but I'm going smaller soon, and I appreciate all the information BEFORE I acquire the bird! As I plan to adopt an older rescue bird' I hope to have one with a similar "expiration date" to mine. I've heard conversations over whether or not mirrors are good, but I appreciate the outline. I have adopted a 10 yr old budgie who loves his mirror I wouldn't dare take it away. I have 2 female budgies in another cage who love their mirrors but They are not glued to them. I will get more foraging toys for them. Thank you for this video.

One of my budgies likes to go on top of the cage and there’s this many mirror thingy hanging above it and she’s a sassy little thing and acts like it’s her coloney to rule over hehe

My 3 birds have big cage like yours, they have a little cage up for even more distance, they live happily here flying, I made a long time ago, a birdy toy for my birds to be a little busy, I am not sure what else i can make, my parakeet cutie, she has a comfort hiding spot, she puts her head on the floor and stays relaxed, we also take her out of the cage, and place her somewhere in the mirror and we leave her alone because she gets mad she dont likes us, and by our high cage, they sleep in high places!
