Royal Engineers, you will do multiple skills regardless of what trade you do. Also would be on a higher pay band

Those were literally my exact choices. I still can’t choose though. If there was something as demanding as infantry but with a great skill set to learn like cyber engineering, I’d go for that in a heartbeat

Hi Kyle, I’m looking at currently joining the reme. I’m close to getting to the final stages and then going however I do have a question regarding relationships. I’m looking at would I be able to get my own house and commute to work and will I be able to stay at one base my whole time as don’t think my partner would enjoy changing all over the place and at the end of the day they have a career to pursue as well. What about a role that is both technical but also a bit physical. I want to do the paratrooper role, but I study computer science, so I feel like I should be doing something technical to get myself some IT experience. But is there something that gets me the best of both worlds? I want to join the reserves btw
