He appeals to utilitarianism's utility (and does it very badly, as he's a consequentialist, not a utilitarian) and then confuses his audience of teenage idiots that going between real utility (coherent definitions) and consequentialists utility (happiness) are the same thing.

I don't know about philosophy, but I'm thinking you know how some talk about Occam's razor for bad science. What if there was something like that for bad reasoning. Like the deuterium bit, it was clever yet idiotic. What does the obscure findings by 20th century scientists of rare isotopes have any relevance to the primordial liquid substance of the planet of all time?
