The grip end of the device does not go towards the driver's door. The manufacturer states to point that to the right. Otherwise, when the driver's door is closed, you could break the window on the door.

My first time i installed it without directions i had it extended vertical onto the seat. Might not have been correct but it deterred my son from taking my car without my permission when he saw the device attached in my driveway. Next time I'll do it smarter

While this is great and i appreciate it guys, you gotta show some other methods, these are EASILY Sawed right off, i’ve heard one too many stories of the bar sitting on the ground in pieces and the car gone, These will visually deter most thieves, and if they REALLY want it they will get it, but you guys should definitely upload some other methods, like using chains etc.

There’s some solution for car thieves …. Draconian punishment .. catch them flog them on public square, then ship them to labor camp and feed them, so they can only endure next day labor, no involvement of lawyer or psychologist, then find out overseas government official who benefits from this nasty trade and sanction them

Literally two cuts with a cordless Sawzall which would probably cut through the steering wheel in under a minute probably 30 seconds then I would put the lock on the front steps with a note saying thanks for the car and $30 for the lock😂😂

Terrible tutorial by the pd.officer didn’t even show the proper positioning. You have to cut the wheel all the way to the left or right to so thieves can’t drive straight. They could still perform wide turns if placed like this. They could also leave the driver door partially open.
