Samba? Week one? Did she piss the producers off or something? I mean...! But when you see Anton in that ridiculous parody Samba outfit you know there will be no techniques involved in this dance. Susannah looked like she's a little depressed. I can't blame her. She's quite disastrous in the group dance, and to be given Samba in week one is just brutal. I don't even want to start critiquing this dance. I don't know where to start. Funny, in both the weird and haha sort of way. Hope they get a classy ballroom dance next week. Susannah looks like she needs some encouragement to get her out of that 'ruck'. Score, 4 (being generous).

I am not always a fan of these comic dances, but Susannah was obviously frightened. She had no confidence after the launch show so Anton had to do something. I can't imagine her horror at a regular samba. What can you do with someone who can't dance? As bad as this is, it's better than what Graziano did to Vick during the jive. Vick was made to look so much worse than she was because of Graziano's show-off dancing.

It is too early in her Strictly experience for Susannah C to pull off a 'funny' routine . Instead of masking the problems, she is exposed by it. Ruth was several weeks into the contest when she and Anton did their iconic Samba. Better luck next week.

It was very harsh to let them start off with a samba as first dance. Pretty sure she does better in Ballroom.
