We bought the tool set for 1st gen sequoia (bought on eBay didn’t know about his email). We live in Canada and with currency exchange and shipping it was an investment. We live 30 min from the border though so had it shipped usa side and picked up. The quality was amazing! We ended up having a mechanic do the work though and so he was happy to buy that took off of us. Duane’s done and amazing job with the creation of these tools.

Oh and your video was great to understand the process for doing the job! You especially made a point of keeping track of placement and that helped us to pass that on to the mechanic since this was his first Toyota specific rear bearing job

I ordered one from Duane off ebay about a week ago and received in yesterday. Missing in it was the u-shaped piece used to pull the abs ring and retainer. I messaged him and he's sending out the replacement so can't be too upset about it. Just kinda sucks when I had planned on doing the repair at a certain time and had to reschedule a bunch of stuff. The tool is solid AF

Hi Duane,
Timmy sent me. I’ve done axles on my gen3 4runner 2 times. The first time I used different shims/blocks with the press and managed it. Friend said “you can do it!” I guess he didn’t want to! Haha. Tricky but doable. I was smarter the 2nd time and had my welder/fabricator son-in-law make a tool for me. MUCH easier!.
So I’m thinking I may be even smarter now! Buying a tool from you is gonna make me a genius! Haha.
We just bought a 2002 Sequoia with 125k. Hoping it will be awhile. I have 2 gen3 4runner and may buy more! Keepum running for the rest of my days to avoid modern bs crappy over complicated and expensive repairs and auto shop rip offs!
With the price of new autos I think it may be a strategic investment to fund my retirement to start hoarding older Toyotas! Haha

Bought the 3rd gen tool set and a Harbor freight press. Only used the tool's once. The savings in labor and knowing it was done right more than paid for the tool set and press.
Sometimes the press Will be collecting dust. But when you need it nothing else takes its place. Good investment.

I've been trying to find the OTC tool you used to separate the broken bearing in one of your Toyota/Lexus bearing replacement video. If I remember correctly, the OTC bearing separator you had on hand were too small. Thank you.
