I feel like the "mixing" of religions is most unusual to a Western-Christian mindset, but more acceptable in other cultural circles of our planet.

E.g. when more and more Westerners become non-religious, but maintain religious holidays, or the Japanese practize traditions from a variety of religions and belief systems.

As far as I understand it from different videos on Japanese culture, it's normal for them to have a Shinto Shrine ceremony as children, a Christian wedding as adults, and a Buddhist cremation after death.
