My ex girlfriend is Hindu. The first time I went to her parents home I felt like I was walking infront of a firing squad. Funny thing is ì ended up getting on better with them than I did with her. I think she used me to annoy her parents when I think back. Over 20 year on her parents still pop over for coffee and look after my dog when I am away. They are amazing people. Her Grandmother keeps telling me she has more granddaughters lol. I cant remember the last time I seen there daughter. Her Mother says about the break up I got custody of the her parents lol. It just proves how first thoughts of someone can be completely incorrect.

This is actually kind of adorable. Very pleased with the ending of this sketch, it's how things should be - the ability to communicate our worries and justifications behind our beliefs without it being misconstrued as or leading to anger, hatred or insult.

Well that was uncharacteristically wholesome, unifying, & uplifting for political youtube. Maybe the site is becoming a gentler, kinder...

To people claiming bias:
1) It’s a comedy show, and people are allowed to have opinions without being biased.
2) Did you actually watch the video? It’s not really pro or anti Brexit

"We voted for parliamentary sovereignty"
Except UK parliament has always been sovereign, brexit white paper even admitted this.... Arguments shouldnt end with a nod and shrug when one side says something factually inaccurate to support their case

This sketch laughs at racist attitudes and praises ignorance.

I thought the BBC were meant to be neutral on such topics?

A lot of british asians actually voted for brexit because its unfair that its really hard for them to enter the country while the europeans can enter easily.

Here's what never ceases to amaze me about PC culture & Brexit - neither Pakistan nor India are in the EU 🤔

Anyone who doesn't get it. He spoke in Gujarati not hindi. Means he is from west state of India Gujarat.

This is gold. I was sad to miss the interpretive dance version of post Brexit though.

Great to see nuance entertained on this topic. I was expecting this one way and was surprised. I'm not one of these "comedy always needs to be even-handed" people because it really doesn't and shouldn't be but it's good to see it's still possible to make a funny sketch without falling into the ususual trap

The sad part is that the sovereignty argument is just as ignorant and damaging as the "kick them" out sentiment. One is a extension of the other

LOL British humour is the

Love Australia to bits.. but UK is cool too! Their humour, their infatuation with tea, their mannerisms and etiquette, and their exquisite accent!

I have never thought particularly highly of people who were right wing but this video sends such an important message. I would hate people to think of me of being a socialist because I vote labour, or a banker because I’m Jewish. Stereotyping is stereotyping no matter what side it’s Corning from👍😬🙂

At least the part of the parents giving their reasons for their vote wasn’t cringe-worthy or racist like everything is considered nowadays.
