Aqueon full hood led light

This is a review of the Aqueon full led light. I bought it for about $35 and an extra led strip for $15 from a petstore I work at. This is an awesome lighting system for both freshwater and marine-saltwater fish tanks, as long as you don't have a too in-depth of a saltwater aquarium. I have 2 of these 24 inch hood lights on my 55 gallon Aqueon aquarium and add the (beauty max) light strips to the provided whites and lighting is amazing bringing out the best colors in fish and decor...Highly recommend.

Nice.  What size is your tank?   So this means I can replace my incandescent fixture with this newer LED one?  I have the exact same hood you do.

I herd the break aways for the back are hard to cut off to fit a filter?

Nice video. Do you think it would be possible to disconnect the blue light and connect it to a separate plug? I would like to control the white and blue lights separately for purposes of using a timer. Thanks.

okay my fish tank lid lights don't work anymore and my fish are fine should I get a new lid just in case please help

what is the box name of the hood and light fixture that you are using? I have been looking for a hood that can hold LED with a clear window that protects the lights from water damage not the ones that hover above the tank [exg the ones on Petsmart] (which is all I can find online) I really like the setup (hood) your using, and was hoping you may have some direction on where I may find one without driving all over, or is this a custom setup and what I may or would need to do the same. Thankx very much for this video post and hopefully u can get back to me. thankx again.

I gotta know though: Does the hood have the option of covering the WHOLE tank?? I have dwarf frogs, so I can't risk having the back open like how it is in your's. Which is why I have an internal filter...

The Aqueon fluorescent light hood stinks. I had to replace mine twice in 6 months. I think I will try this type instead.

Just bought the 24” hood ... took it out and it doesn’t fit a 24”tank ! The width of the hood is only around 22.5... what bullshit
