To all applicants for Graphic Designer, Creative Assistants, etc. I suggest that you stay honest as much as possible. I had my interview today and the interviewer was more focused on conversational type of questions. INTERVIEWERS WANT YOU TO ASK QUESTIONS!!


If you have questions, thats the perfect time to ask them to know them more and about the company itself.

For anyone who has a portfolio, these questions are good but pretty base level. You will be drilled about your specific skills and will need examples of how and when you have used them in projects whether from school, self created, or at another design job/freelance.

Bro...This does not sound like an interview at all. You're reading a script. This is NOT what people doing an interview want to hear.
Designers, the most important thing is to sit back, relax and tell them YOUR story. Be critical about your past jobs. Point out what your past employers and colleagues did WRONG and what you learned from it. LAUGH. Be honest, and share what you learned. NEVER try to fit in to what you think the interviewer wants to hear. Honestly, they probably see the flaws in their job more than anyone, and are looking to leave themselves. Show them you have standards and are able to critique and at least suggest better ways to improve your work flow.
Critique. Share. Never suck up.

This may be suitable for those with less than 1 year if working experience. GD interviews are more dependent on your portfolio and what GD tech skills u have. Not only you have interviews to go through but there’s also a technical assessment .
