Just found your channel.
I have a heavily modified Falcon that I used to race back in the late 80s. It was my first RC vehicle and I still have it. She needs to be rebuilt some day. I have been trying to find another one but they are rare and no rerelease are planned as far as my local RC shop can find.

My fav basher 😊. It has too stiff front suspension in my opinion. What I did was cutting a bit of the spring, to lower the preload. I also cut a piece of each piston to make the oil flow better with the new set up. I use the standard yellow oil. I did the same cutting to the rear pistons too. Now it has a realy smouth ride, and do not bounce around. It allso works very well with my TG motor and Adspec 100A radio dystem. Upgraded to Wild One wheels to gain a bit ride height. Another thing to mention as a realy good upgrade, is the Dirt Burner steel axle set. Works so smouth👌🏁

nice video, I had one when I was 12 must have been 1987..my older brother had the hornet..I remember the yellow on the car made it completely original compared to the rest..just bought an original Sand scorcher.. would love a falcon on my shelf

I like it. Keep it original, yes. Nice character marks on it.

Not sure where you are but I have been dragging one of these around with me for decades. Is mint and never really used it as a kid. I would like to find it a good home. Couldn't really throw it out. Doesn't run.

The Falcon, i had one of these for my 11th birthday i think it was. I didn't build it though was a bit too young at the time so my dad made it for me. Just love the look of this car so much. I have been thinking about getting a new R/C car though, i have seen you can still get The Hornet and the Grasshopper to this day but i think they are reissues.

Nice Falcon!  Do yourself a big favor and replace those plastic bushings with ball bearings.  A classic like that deserves it!

Good looking Falcon! Got one I'm about to take out for a run. The rear axles hitting the rear dampers and old brittle plastic cracking. This one truely deserves to stay on the shelf only :-) But let's see how it fares.

Such a cool car! I just added a Falcon to my Tamiya vintage collection (Grasshopper 1 and 2, FAV, Wild One, Bear Hawk, Toyota Hilux (the original), Gepard and Leopard 1). I honestly paid too much for my Falcon (because it was advertised as "low mileage"...), but that's quickly forgotten now that I'm working on the car. I am looking to offer some reproduced parts, especially for the front end (shock tower, lower A-arms). The design of the Falcon is flawed in that the front sits too high and has not enough travel, this means the shocks will bottom out before the bottom of the car hits the ground, putting a large strain on the shock towers and A-arms. I am looking into making the shock towers longer to solve this, while keeping the car looking original.

Just discovered mine in my parents home. It was in a bad condition. Took it all apart and cleaned each and every part. Unfortunately it has a crack on the middle between the front axle. It was not visible before disassembling.
Remote control is also missing as well as the battery pack. I remember it was always completely empty after 10 minutes of driving. Will try modern Lipo cells I think...
