Im 51 this year. This brings tears to my eyes...the fun we had...nobody was a stranger...we shared our dreams and danced like it may be the last party. I am grateful.

Orbital played this then unreleased tune at a party at the art college in Belfast in 1990 during the troubles. The place went mad and after orbital leaving a tape of their EP the song became massive in Belfast. Orbital decided to name the song Belfast in recognition of the great time they had there after initially being understandably very anxious about the ongoing situation in Northern Ireland. What a fucking tune

Memories of listening to this smoking joints as the sunrises, surrounded by my best mates after a big MDMA session as it starts to wear off, still getting waves of serotonin washing pure and limitless love over my soul, feeling like something great and beautiful had been achieved. At one with the earth and the universe as it stood still for that brief moment. Everything was right, the way God intended it to be for us. One of the most peaceful moments I ever felt and I'm so thankful for that stage in my life. Took away some amazing memories, most of them got lost in time but the ones that remain will stay with me forever.
