The Ethiad A-380 is the most beautiful bird I’ve seen so far. Beautiful livery.

Amazing video mate! Etihad must be one of the world's fastest growing airlines. They have a fantastic product and the future looks very positive for them. Huge like as usual!

Nicely made! A great airline. Amazing what UAE has done based on Airlines! Just a note of interest Wellington’s SQ service from Canberra is now going via Melbourne from May 3rd, and one of the A330 services is being replaced by the 777-200ER to continue down south. I think it’s SQ247/SQ248, but don’t count me in that. Keep it up :)

Excellent Video mate! Having flown the ME3 4 times each I have the say that EY were my least favorite and AUH definitely needs an improvement... Liked!

DJ: What do you think of the livery? I am not fond of the geometric tail area. The front portion is a nice design though, but IMO the geometric shapes shorten the visual length of the plane--makes it kind of "blocky", instead of sleek.

Having just flown Etihad in both business and economy, it is clear that they are suffering heavily from route performance which has lead to significant cost cuts in most classes. In economy for example, no more menus, wet wipes, amenity kits and other little details which distinguished it from other carriers i.e CX. In business meal options have reduced and the drinks list is laudable, along with the lounge experience. This airline sucks up cash in heavy loss routes, especially the US. Flew to Geneva, where their were 20 people in economy class on a A330. Etihad's foreign investments have all failed, and they will continue to suffer from Jet Airways, Air Seychelles, Alitalia. Can't see them surviving in their current state for much longer unfortunately.

Yayyyy thank you for the video.

I live in Farnborough. The Farnborough airport where they hold the farnhborough air show is right down the road from me. It is fantastic watching the planes fly above where I live.

Do you really think that etihad have a successful future?!? As I’ve been told from an insider that a lot of the aircraft that they have on order is no longer happening and that etihad is in fact struggle due to the stakes they took on the various airlines that you had mentioned?

Once again, thank you for the video and I love ALL of your content on your channel. I continue to look forward to you video releases. You definitely help with my intellect and further my fascination with learning about the airline industry. So much appreciation for you.

brilliantly detailed a usual, great news for Melbourne and Sydney that Singapore airlines will connect to wellington from both cities respectively, but it comes at a cost for Canberra as the route is ditched after only 18 months.

First to get things off, I absolutely LOVE Etihad’s livery. The colors are amazing and the tail’s geometric design, is in my opinion, amazing. I really think that more airlines should go for the geometric design for some facet of the aircraft, cause if done right they really do look good. Especially on the 787 with the wingflex, it’s absolutely incredible.
Etihad’s fleet is also quite interesting, and much more diverse than their UAE neighbors haha. I definitely think that their fleet is quite well balanced and definitely one of the better airline fleets in existence. Starting off on the narrowbody side with their A320/21neo orders. I think that these would serve very well as replacements for the A319/20, but I see the market shift away from the narrowbody segment as far as Emirates/Etihad/Qatar is concerned, so I don’t see any additional orders for the foreseeable future. The A330s are definitely an important part of their fleet, however the 787-9/10s of, which they ordered 72-ish of, will definitely serve as a great replacement, along with the A350-900s. It’s really sad to see the A346s go, I love the A340-600, so unique, especially the Formula livery, but economics always triumphs planespotting experiences. The A380s were necessary for any Middle Eastern carrier, and I do love them in the livery, but I think they ordered enough as they are going for the short aircraft, more routes and frequency style, with the 72 787s and 62 A350s long with 25 777Xs. The 787s are definitely going great for Etihad, and they look gorgeous, and I do see even more orders as they grow. Going along with potential orders, I do think that they will order quite a lot more 777Xs to replace the classics and grow, with an order somewhere along the lines of 50 aircraft.
As Cargo goes, if they want room to grow, I think they have to grow their capacity by ordering more planes, particularly the 777F.
Again, LOVE THE LIVERY. Great video! :)
