You must be dead inside to not feel almost overwhelmed with emotion listening to this. I felt like what made it work so well is both Freddie and Monserrat are divas and powerful in their own respective genres of music. I thought it was absolute magic. Great reaction!

Such soft buttery light high notes (pianissimo) like she shows are extremely difficult to execute. They are so much harder to control and sustain than the louder heavier high notes. She executes these notes heavenly.

Loved your reaction. I share in your appreciation of them both. Not only was Freddie doing something he always considered in his lifetime, with the limited time he had, formed a truly loving respect and friendship in this magnificent soprano . Thank you for that astute reaction! I love them both separately but especially, together. Her voice shimmers; it tickles your spine . Besides "The Golden Boy" and "How Can I Go On?" both of which are on YouTube as videos of them performing, there is "La Japonaise" which is on YouTube with their voices and appropriate visuals. They sing the song partly in Japanese! It's gorgeous.

Congrats on 9K 😁 Oooohhh - I saw your mouth drop open just a little 💗 This song was used in the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games! Freddie passed in 1991 & was unable to perform it with Montsy at the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games! ☹️

Pavarotti proclaimed this as the dumbing down on opera! Yet went on to do the same years later. I love their voices..they went so well together. Just beautiful. She thoroughly enjoyed working with Freddie. So much so she wanted to do a whole album.
