Japan has reported a tripling of cases of novel coronavirus among people on a quarantined cruise liner.
The largest known cluster of infection outside of China provides clues on how easily the disease spreads in confined conditions.
The Diamond Princess is docked in Yokohama and passengers have been told to remain in their cabins for two-weeks.

Another 41 cases of the coronavirus on the cruise ship docked at Yokohama port in Japan were reported on Friday.
A total of 61 cases has now been confirmed among the 3,700 passengers on the quarantined cruise ship.
The confirmed patients were relocated to medical facilities for treatment while the other passengers have been confined to their cabins as testing continues.
"The passengers were exposed to each other in a confined space, the cruise ship, for a prolonged period of time. I think the rising number of infected is a result of repeated contact under those circumstances."
Japanese Health Minister Katsunobu Kato told reporters that further tests will be conducted if additional passengers develop symptoms.
The first virus case on the ship, an 80-year-old man from Hong Kong, was reported on Monday.
Confined to their cabins, passengers looked frustrated as they were seen out on their balconies, getting fresh air. They were also seen hanging their clothes out to dry as their stay on the cruise is to last longer than expected.
Video footage shows officials delivering food supplies and disinfecting the ship.
In an effort to prevent further spread of the virus, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe announced Thursday that Japan will deny entry of non-Japanese passengers on another cruise ship heading to Japan from Hong Kong.
