Perfect 3 Watch Collection For Under $10,000: Tudor Black Bay Pro, Seiko SPB143, Omega Speedmaster

When we talk about watches the conversation inevitably comes to hypothetical perfect 3 or 5 watch collection. The combinations are endless and it's fun to talk through the different priorities and preferences of different people. Maybe all chronographs? Maybe all Rolex, Tudor, Omega, Seiko, Grand Seiko, or G-Shock? The conversation will never end. This hypothetical pretty much always simmers in the back of my mind and I started to think about it more after spending more time with my Omega Speedmaster, a watch that is extremely versatile.

So in this video I get into what I think my perfect 3 watch collection would be for less than $10,000 by getting into the 3 main factors that play into such a small controlled collection. Those factors are utility, variety, and versatility. And the three watches that I've chosen are the Tudor Black Bay Pro, Seiko SPB143, and finally the Omega Speedmaster Professional. Which 3 watches would you choose as your one and only trio?

OK, so having just dropped to a 3 watch collection myself, here's what I have..
Tudor BB black (strap and bracelet option) as my casual wear.
Tudor BB Pepsi GMT as sporty, splash of colour.
IWC Portofino as smart/casual and dress piece.
Around the 10k mark.
Very happy with it 👍

Yeah there's no going wrong with these three! I was surprised at first to not see the Pelagos but I recalled that this is purely hypothetical lol. Spb would be more versatile for sure

The Speedy wwins the chrono spot, BB Pro is the GMT/Explorer type. but bluebb58 for the diver for me please. I am playing with he BB54 but can not grade it as hign as BB58 blue as yet.

Interesting you chose three black(ish) dial watches. For me, I would need a black, blue and grey/silver/white dial if I only had three. Having only three or four watches is definitely a great objective to focus a collection though 🎉

I wouldn’t touch the BB Pro because of the terrible thickness problem and the quality issues Tudor is having. The other two are awesome 👏🏻

My 10K trio would be; Hermes H08 in titanium, Longines Lindenbergh in 38mm with the L989 movement and a simple JLC Reverso monoface medium. (I dont use a chrono/dive watches ever..)

Great video and very good suggestions for a 3 piece collection. I am fan too of a 3 or 4 piece set. After a lot of flippering (including JLC, Zenith, Rolex) my 3 piece is as following:
- Omega Speedmaster pro Hesslite (my all time favorite and strap Monster)
- Tudor Black Bay pro ( so fun the GMT is cool and great on the bracelet)
- Cartier Tank Solo Large (dress piece but also very casual on different straps)

As number 4 it will be a gshock or diver

seiko alpinist 2nd edition japan green dial, tudor BB heritage, omega seamaster grey w/blue dial rubber strap. may have to trade/sell heritage; its like wearing a hockey puck even on 7.5 inch wrist.

Compelling 3 watches you have their, just would be nice to have different colours, ie Maybe a Seiko Willard in green, a BB58 Blue and the speedy in black
