This drive instructor is absolutely superb, this should be the national standard. Ive drive trucks for 39 years, im also a motorcyclist since 1980. Ive taught many people to drive yet i am appalled at the standard of driving instructors. This inevitably reflects on the students ability and of course everyone's safety. You are calm, clear with your instructions and the student take confidence from you. London is not the easiest place to learn to drive. You madam are worth your weight in gold.

People can be so unpredictable on the highways so I completely understand how she’s feeling. I actually had a truck today try and over take me and he didn’t even get half way past me when he started merging back over into my lane. The person behind me and I had to break so hard to avoid this terrible truck driver. My heart was racing so fast after that 😣

I’m in the US and had to learn to drive in a minivan. Thing loved to stay in 3rd gear it was a great time trying to get it up to 70mph (112km/h) on the highway for the first time.

Highways are by far the safest place to drive. Find a truck going the speed limit, drive behind him keeping good distance and you can’t be safer on the road.
In the city all manner of shit can happen. Cyclists, pedestrians, tourists, people rushing to work. It’s a hassle
