Cyclone Remal made landfall between the coasts of West Bengal and Bangladesh late on Sunday night, with winds up to 135 kmph. Remal, which has now weakened into a severe cyclonic storm, struck between Sagar Island and Khepupara near Mongla, Bangladesh, at 8:30 pm on May 26. After making landfall, the severe cyclonic storm began moving northwards and is likely to gradually weaken further. It's nothing. If such a moderate cyclone occurs in the coming days, it will take the form of a giant Tsunami in the coastal region! Due to global warming, the ice in Antarctica is accelerated melting and the sea level is rising rapidly.
