Malachi 4:6 (KJV) "He shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children & the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come & smite the earth with a curse." This easy-listening song may related pleasantly to the present generation brought up on that style of music...it should not replace or negate the experiences of those gone before. The Mystery of Communion is not limited to a man-made "franchise" & we have been warned against the divisive spirit behind denominations, see 1 Cor 1:11-17

My comments to "catholic" commentors are gone, I sincerely hope not purposely deleted! They were about not dividing the Body of Christ into man-made "franchises." I quoted Paul in 1 Corinthians 1:11-17. I also quoted Malachi 4:6 "He shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children & the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come & smite the earth with a curse." It was about the "easy-listening" nature of this music replacing songs which the older generation also love & identify with.

If that's supposed to be a remembrance of the Last Supper then the bread is totally wrong, it contains leavening and was never used by Jesus nor the Disciples at any time.

This song should not be singing in Regenerated Holy Sprit God leading Churches which are bought by the blood of Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. All are not welcome to Lord’s table unless the ones who genuinely born again, regenerated by the power of Hoy Spirit God, obeyed in adult water baptism after the salvation and confessing their sins daily to Jesus Christ. Lord’s table is for the disciples of Jesus Christ.
