Song has been out for awhile now, and was so stoked because at first I thought I was seeing on my YT alerts the release of another brand new Slightly Stoopid song but instead it was a music video to this stellar jam which is cool too but yea definitely ready for another new song. Love the horn section of this song. I am a guitar and bass player and Slightly Stoopid to me has the best horn section in the scene. Those dudes make me want to learn instruments such as trumpets and saxophones etc… it’s so good. Since chronchitis the first album where we had a full horn section. Sure we have had horns at times in earlier Slightly Stoopid albums but nowhere near at the level it started at with chronchitis and I think that was one of the best decisions the dudes ever made adding an entire horn section, but also because they don’t ever drown us fully with it either. It’s like they know how to write with it perfect. I absolutely loved Everyday Life Everyday People, but still find myself going back to Meanwhile…Back at the Lab just as much, but then again I could say that about every Slightly Stoopid album though technically because they all get played in rotation with me but have been on a Meanwhile Back at the Lab and Top of the World kick lately revisiting those stellar albums front to back.
