The FASTEST POSSIBLE START for New Players! New World Beginners Guide

This is a guide for New World that will help new players get the fastest possible start in the game. This beginners guide is great to show to your friends or anyone curious about trying the game out. If you're a newbie who wants to get ahead of the pack and get a solid foundation that will rocket you ahead of most players, then you're at the right place.

I see many new players who are just stuck in the starter zones making very little progress while making no coin. With this guide you will be able to level all avenues of your character very quickly, be well equipped to complete daily faction quests, and be WEEKS ahead of other newbies. All with zero risk. Too many other guides out there have new players risking their gear doing pvp missions during prime time, or doing risky market house flips, crafts, or other financially shaky things. This guide has NONE OF THAT STUFF and has a 100% success rate.

Hitting T rather than E for the readables collects it without opening your journal. It'll keep a 'new' tag on it, so at the end of your session (or whenever you want to read them) you know which ones you haven't read. But that stops the character turning to face it, stopping running, and the window popping and needing another click to be rid of. Handy for when you're in a zone you maybe shouldn't be, or if you're trying to save time like here.

Is everyone missing the obvious or am I not understanding how this works? If the key to this method is town boards, and there will be no town boards until someone buys a town, then this method won't work at launch. Sure, there are tons of tryhards already planning to pool funds asap and grab towns, but even that will take some time. Until then you'd be left grinding the storyline and crafting.

So any mention of 'getting ahead of all the newbs at launch' using this method needs to take that caveat into consideration. As in, do these skips and pregather this stuff for the storyline quest then do these things until town boards become available somewhere THEN switch to this strategy.

if you dont spam E on the first guy with the boots quest and dont accept the next quest you can select leave and than select the area u like to do your starting quests in if you like
also if you can add readebils instandly, just press F i think it was by defult

You wanna kill 2 boars at the start for over 16 hide for the quest. Also you don't wanna pick up any beginning crates as they're terrible. Also skip killing any mob you can as its not worth the time. You can get 1-10 in under 30 min if all done properly. Also I wouldn't recommend changing zones until you picked faction as its not worth doing that run until then.

Love the Vids, just one problem with the starter guides, on release you could have over 200+ players in that starting area, which will slow down the Xp massively as everyone will be collecting the resources needed. and any mobs needed for the quests.

If your crafting level is higher, the town board requires you to turn in higher tier resources. It is better to just stock resources, hit 50 on crafting skills, turn in T2 town board quests as they give more reward. If you turn in 500 t1 wood you wasted time, in comparison to getting 500 t1 wood and turning it into 200 t2 wood and receiving more crafting experience and quest experience as a reward.

Not sure if it's a permanent change or was just done for the Open Beta, but the Respawn button is gone and you have to be within 500m of your camp to use it. So I'm not sure that this method will work anymore? Just have to wait and see when it goes live :)

After nerfing boards and removing respawn this strategy is still viable for the farmer/crafter guys. But it definitely isnt faster than usual questing with a little townboard Action anymore.

I have to know… did the character die?! Sweet guide. I’ll be speed running through the tutorial so I can meet up with my buddy then grinding gathering and town boards for the first ~8 hours, then I’ll just play through the main quest line and start doing PvP/dungeons and stuff.

What is the point in all this speed lvling? After 2 weeks you are max level and bored to tears with the game. I plan to take it slowly and enjoy every aspect of the game. It is a RPG. The RP stands for Role Playing, not Rush Powerleveling.
