Dan vs. Nathan | Portrait in Car

This was a great video, please do more. I liked shots from both of you. With the 600mm lens I like the first shot thru the head rest seat to the models eyes the second shot would have been better with both eyes visible.. With the shorter lens I liked the shot of the first one out the window and the 3rd one inside the car.

Fun video and concept - knowing the subject but mixing up which gear you get to use! I enjoyed this. Encourages playfulness and illustrates what different lenses can offer. I’d enjoy seeing more such videos in different settings.

This is a really good idea for a video and definitely there should be future videos with this theme - give people different Nikon equipment and see what happens - I liked that.

Obviously, the guy with the 180-600 was severely disadvantaged due to the parameters of this shoot and as such I was impressed by what he got - yes both eyes above the window would have been stronger, but still a good effort given what he was working with.

The 14-30 shots were fine - more what we would have expected from those focal lengths and a car shoot.

How about a photo shootout for some of us older folks who are tired of constantly changing lenses; who recently purchased a Nikon Coolpix P950. Give Nathan the P950, and Dan the P1000. Then send them on a safari to Kenya or Tanzania to do wildlife & scenery shoots! That would be awesome! :-D

As a challenge that was to include the car as a prop they both failed to execute. Interesting result but no medals.

Nikon and Nikkor are Japanese names. Stop being entitled newbies. Learn how the Japanese pronounce Japanese names. Other reviewers pronounce these correctly. You do not.
