Doc Martin Series 9 Trailer

All is not well for brilliant but boorish Dr. Martin Ellingham (Martin Clunes, Manhunt) as the hit British dramedy returns. To Martin’s utter disgust, his medical practice remains under official scrutiny because of his pre-existing blood phobia, and he is forced to attend refresher courses starting with phlebotomy. His wife, Louisa (Caroline Catz, DCI Banks) and aunt Ruth (Emmy® winner Eileen Atkins, Cranford) urge him to take this risk to his career seriously, but events conspire against him.

While Louisa focuses on her own job change and studies child psychology, she worries that their son, James, is becoming too much like his father, and decides James needs a sibling. As the other residents of picturesque Portwenn contend with love and life changes, Martin remains stuck in his ways. Can he appease the medical board or will his days as the village GP soon be at an end?

I just loved these Doc Martin series. Wish they would never end. Laugh out loud moments from all the quirkiness😂

My favorite scene in this clip is when the patient tells off the woman from the medical board when her question backfires, and then Martin asks "Any more questions?" Great acting. Perfect timing. LOL! Sally Tischel is a trip too. Of course I love Caroline Catz in this as well. The last few seasons gave her some great comedy moments to act. She did a great job of it.

I bought a box set of DVDs for seasons 1-8. I don’t believe I’ll tire from watching them❣️ BUT the episode, where the person eats their hair, makes too nauseous to watch again!!!
I’m excited about the next upcoming season❣️ It’ll be bittersweet, though, knowing it’s truly the end!😒

I love the show, but can anyone tell me why the picture quality isn't great. I've bought the blu rays of series 7 to 9 from the USA, and even they don't seem to have great definition.
