No clue why it leaks air through the opposite side connection before the lever is engaged - I have numerous dual valve pumps and none of them except this one do that :(

I have a twinhead on my Joe Blow.  It would never seal on any Presta valve, but the Schrader side would seal.  So I got an adapter to turn my Presta valve into a Schrader valve.  Now after two years, that won't seal either.

I can't stand the TwinHead on my Sport III. I find myself avoiding pumping my tyres up even though I bought it to make things quicker, easier, and more enjoyable than firing up my compressor. I've been reading reviews for a replacement over the last two days even though I've only owned this thing a matter of months. I'm astonished at all the positive reviews this things gets (and why I bought it). Finally after reading all these glowing reports again I decided maybe I was making things worse in my head so I went outside to do it. Nope - it's still shitty. First you can't press the schrader side on because the valve disappears down in to the wheel if the pressure is already mildly low (it was 40+ psi, not exactly flat, I'm only aiming for 50-60). So you need to hold the schrader valve in place while you attach the TwinHead but then you also need two hands to hold the head and close the strong locking lever. And just when you go to do that you find the side-mounted lever won't go in the direction you need because it's butting up against a spoke. So you have to take it all off and walk around to the other side of the bike and start again. Oh but the hose is WAY too short so you have to pick up that pump and carry it around with you (Joe Blow Sport III). I hate it I hate it I hate it I hate it I hate it.
