The meaning of this song is in contrasts: it's about a depressed person who feels down, grounded to the earth and who wants to become a bird and fly, because he believes that earth looks more beautiful from above. So in the down parts he is singing low and in the parts where he talks about soaring to the skies he is singing high. It demonstrates the contrast between low and high, ugliness and beauty, earth and heaven, death and life, not only in the physical, but also in the spiritual sense, a perfectly beautiful and emotional interpretation.

This video made him a star. The song provided Dimash to show his range and his classical and contemporary style. He has been branded the 6 octave man and the best singer in the world. As an experiment to the show which showcases well known Chinese artist they agreed to put Dimash in as the dark horse. His fans(dears) are all over the world and because he is so kind and humble they protect him. He truly is a once and a lifetime true talent!

I really don’t think this girl gives a dang about our comments.... she believe herself is the ultimate knowledge vocal coach.... those kind of cocky people who think, with a few years of learning she got everything figured out.... nothing worse than this kind of people, to react to Dimash... she have seen only one song of him and already think she has him figured out completely. Very superficial woman without any signs of feelings, cold hearted. You see? I’m an expert now, I figure you out... what about that?... I’m almost sure, if she hear more melodies from Dimash, she will have the same reaction.... NONE!!

He has brought a new genre that incorporates different singing techniques from different genres into one song, . With his vocal range he can sing anything and you will notice that every performance has its own uniqueness.
Dimash is just too good to be denied. As a 65 year old music lover, I have never heard anyone quite like Dimash. He sings straight to your soul. Simply stunning.

Trained since he was 5...its cute that you critique this, with the " head shake" wasn't much of a review of the artist so much as your knowledge of the voice. Or your idea of a voice. Doesn't matter..you do you

Thank you for this video! I think it if important to remember though, that Dimash doesn't stay within bounds of "what SHOULD be done" but explores "what COULD be done". Every time us dears think we know what he is capable of, he surprises us.

Dimash is a storyteller first, a musician and singer and composer second. His choices of technique and different styles may not make sense within the bounds of "genres" and mainstream music theory but it always makes sense in the line of boundary-defying art and storytelling. Almost everything he does, every tone he chooses, every note he hits.. it's all deliberate. He always keeps tweaking every song and not one performance is the same. He sees a song as his playground in which he can play around and take the listener on a whirlwind journey, instead of just going in a straight boring line from A to B.
