I get the logic but fox dug this hole but moving olsen to the side and elevating tom before he called a single game and put his first appearance on a primetime game. I get asking the public to let him improve but fox is for sure gonna want to keep him on games that have a lot of eyes.

The way fox sports guys talk about brady is kind of infuriating. They clearly come across as holding the company line - I'd rather they just don't talk about it. Fox obviously made an error in giving tom that contract and forcing him on big games immediately when they already have probably the best young analyst among the networks. Putting Tom on big games was the shortcut, trying to copy romo's immediate success and popularity and in the process ruining their relationship with someone who put the work in over years and found himself rightfully assigned with the A-team.

Colin blew his analogy. Brady is the bitcoin shortcut in terms of broadcasting. He went to the top team without doing an NFL game. He put himself in the position of cutting ahead of all the other broadcasters paying their dues. Now, many fans may like him- fine- but your analogy that Brady is the Warren Buffet hard working lifetime investor as opposed to the Bitcoin instant millionaire is simply bad analogy

Stop it Colin . They gave him a bazillion dollars. They put him in the majors without any time to learn, grow and improve. You noted what they did with the others and how they had to learn. They don't care if he is good He is Tom Brady so they assume people would watch based on that alone if he was good that would be a bonus.
If you ever heard Tom speak you know he is less than fascinating.
Don't blame the fans for what greed has done.

It would've been perfect to have Tom go to ESPN and call games. He would've gotten better and then he could call games on a regular network. Honestly I don't get the move. He is basically the same as Greg Olsen, and every other former NFL player. Romo and Aikman are special and bring some unique insights and humor to the game. Brady is Tony Romo light....😅

It’s just because of the money, the fact that it is Tom Brady and he took Greg Olsen Job who has a lot of friends in the business who sympathize with him. But except for the first half of his first game he has been doing very well and improving.. The proof is in if you look at the posts on twitter or YouTube criticizing him they don’t have that many responses and a good deal of those responses are people defending him. Trust the people at Fox know what they are doing and that is why they keep growing. For example his latest post on X on team power rankings got 1 million views in less than 20 hours no other one got 10k
