On any other team Brady would get whatever he wants but bill has made it clear throughout his career that he’s willing to let players go to early than to late. Brady hasnt taken a paycut, he is getting paid through TB12 instead of directly through his NFL contract, so he is still making the money he deserves, it just doesnt show up in the salary cap.

I think Brady wants to atleast see teams offer him top tier money but if the patriots were willing to retool and build around him he'd take a slight cut to make the team around him as good as it could be. His formula for success has always been team over money and I dont see that changing in the home stretch of his career

This is such a cut and dry obvious situation to me. Patriots and Brady both know what they want and will not let anybody know to the very end. Tom’s going to act like he is going to sign with other teams in the AFC. Go back to the patriots for half the money and it will be to late for the AFC teams caught up in the Brady saga to find a quarterback. This is been their way for years and there’s no way it’s going to change. Brady will be playing to the Pats next year hands-down.
