I love the irony of the intro to each episode "Over 68 million Americans leave the safety of our borders every year." The "safety" of our borders includes 26, 000 homicides a year, between 25 and 50 serial killers active at any given time, an average of 350 child kidnapping a year. As an American that relocated to Britain, I've never felt safer since I left "the safety of our borders".

I don't watch much TV as the sort of TV I enjoy they do not make anymore but I have been really enjoying this and what a joy to have Gary Sinise back and the woman from Law and Order is pretty good too. Just found out it has been cancelled, probably by the sort of people who are perpetually offended. This show had real potential but clearly not of its time because if this had been released in the 90's or 00's it would have had 10 plus seasons but if you say anything controversial it is goodbye. I mean come on they are even arguing if a straight actor can play a gay character when there are many gay actors and actresses playing straight characters and no one cares and neither do I. Please stop sanitising TV otherwise I may as well not renew my license. My current favourite progs this re-runs of Criminal Minds original and re-runs of Grimm as most original TV is not worth watching. I will enjoy Beyond Borders for as long as it lasts and probably watch re-runs 5 years later.
