It was purely due to old-fashioned women depicted in their purest form. An Indian lead dancing her heart out and a buttoned-down intrepid European settling for coming in second. C’est la vie!

We should not care about Oscars, it's award show for them, these days Hollywood is making worse movie than Korean, bollywood and tollywood. Currently we are in much better condition than them.
