✅ Do you want to see the evolution of Mappy's bonus stages across different platforms? In this video, we take you on a nostalgic journey through the ports and conversions of Mappy’s bonus stages, from the Arcade original in 1983 to the more recent home console releases.

It's important to note that some versions, like the Sord M5, MSX, and Sharp MZ-700, do not include the bonus stage and have therefore not been included in this comparison. Additionally, some Nintendo versions have been shortened or modified due to copyright restrictions.

Explore how the bonus stages have changed, comparing the graphics, gameplay, and overall experience across these versions:

The arcade (Namco classic collection Vol. 1) music is beautiful as well. It just gave me great hearing! 😮

I think the Sharp MZ-2500 version had the best sounding Bonus Stage Music! It's so beautiful! 🥹

How are we supposed to know when the music ends?

Also, on an unrelated note, I miss the days when computers and consoles were drastically different than one another. Gave each port their own personality.

The later ones are damn near impossible. The arranged version is a really cool twist on it.

I wonder how Tom Brier would improvise on Mappy music.

The Super Cassette Vision port could have had a better soundtrack... the console was more than and has been capable of playing decent music with the PCM-based chip it had!
